07/01/10- Aspasia Beauty,London: London based Beauty therapist, Aspasia Beauty require a small 3 page site that will be designed to make their business stand out from the competition.

04/01/10- Renaissance Textiles, East Lambrooke, Somerset: This site will give viewers information regarding Renaissance Textiles and their services. The site will include textile samples and a portfolio.

15/09/09 - Claire Wakely Fabrics, Hambridge, Somerset: Claire Wakely makes and sells fabrics and furnishings for the home. She is came to iWood Web Design looking to advertise her skills and products online and also sell various items that she holds within her workshop/shop in Hambridge, Somerset.

15/09/09 - fullonsport.co.uk: Full on Sport (FOS) is a new website that is an online portal/notice board for amateur sporting events. The website enables users to view results from various events, write reports, upload photos and much, much more. iWood Web Design has been asked to revamp the look of the site so that it reflects the technology behind it and also to make it clean and clear for the user, in other words "The perfect blend of form and function". This is an on going project as the site is constantly evolving thanks to its dynamic, interactive design. View Site

Useful Internet Tips

Hopefully these "Nuggets" of information will make your web browsing experience a more pleasant one (if it isn't already!).

1. Download the Firefox web browser: Firefox is more secure, stable and reliable than Internet Explorer, meaning less pop-ups, less spyware and faster page loads. » Get Firefox

2. Make sure your virus software is up to date. If it isn't update it now. If your virus software has expired, try downloading AVG by Grisoft, it's free and it's good! » Get AVG (free version)

3. Don't click pop-ups saying things like:
"Congratulations, you are our 1000,000 customer, click here to collect your prize"
The chances are if it sounds too be good to be true it probably is. These pop-ups can indicate that some spyware may have found it's way on to your computer. If you are unsure you can download SPYBOT Search and Destroy, this will scan your computer for spyware and remove it.

4. Use multiple search words when using search engines. Many people only enter one or two words when looking for specific things on the web. If you want to narrow the results received from a search, give the search engine as many words as possible. Using 'Wildcards' helps the search engine even more by only looking for certain groups of words. For example: By placing a series of words in quotes ("), the search engine will only look for the words contained in those quotes in the correct order. A search for "iwood web design" would only look for that particular phrase, where as a search for iwood web design, will return results for each of those words. If you would like to search for a group of words in no particular order you can use the plus (+) symbol. iwood+web+design - would return results where by all three words were found.
